well today is the day that i become single again after about two and some odd months of guests. I feel somewhat sad about it cuz i love having people around but that's life. my gorgeous sister was here and played cinderella for some weeks while pretending to find a bar job... she is so good to me it's crazy... she and i are so alike yet different it's scary. something i can't explain but when you live so far away from your only sibling, it's easy to forget that there is someone so much like you. I must admit that it broke me to see her leave because after being here for over a month i was so used to her company. we get along like no one else, despite her few annoyances with me and mine with her... she is there for me totally! she stands up for me like no one else... i guess i forget what it's like to have her as a sister cuz we both get so busy sometimes we forget how important our contact is. dad, karen, aunt donna and unkie bob came to the end for me grad and a little fam trip which was absolutely fab! i had such a great time in devon at this house we rented... julia and i went running a lot and generally just chilled out. jules and i also went to CPH for pride where i got too drunk and also got a huge lecture but at least jules looked hot giving it...
Now for the wedding of a life time! turkey! my lovely friend erensah is now a married woman! i can't believe it! my friends are really ageing! ahhhh. tiina a.k.a. mama g (mama gay) came as my date which was hot.. cuz we were :) decked out in formalwear we did it good... ! the wedding was a fairy tale in the coastal hills of the south of turkey at the groom's parents mansion... there was an infinity pool which really made the wow factor for me... it was so cool as the wedding was set up like a club (bedz) with huge cushions for everyone to sit on during the dancing... well anyway it was great. turkey was fab as well. afterwards, all us foreigners went on a cruise for 4 days which was also amazing. it was such a cool opportunity to just chill out, tan and eat! cruise america was quite an experience though as all they others were american investment bankers plus the esto and i... but that was ok... i just never want to hear about another college experience! they all went onto istanbul, somewhere i really need to check out because i had to go back and fly :(
came back to london with good old gill from spain on the visit! she's been good fun but onfortunately i've been working a lot but c'est la vie. i'm going tomorrow to estonia to have laser surgery on my eyes! i will never need glasses again! knock on wood! i hope to be a better muslim in the future... i meant blogger... i've been so back!

well i am officially a trolley dolly and that's just fine! i haven't written for ages because i have been flying around madly... getting used to the working life... it has been hectic but my sister is here now which is really nice... i am soo happy to see her and have her here... i miss her so much it's crazy! i'm too tired to put on pics right now... going to PRIDE next weekend in copenhagen which will bring on lots of photos so i will keep the posts up... turkey is my next big adventure...

well eurovision time is approaching and i have the songs to listen to now and I am super happy about estonia's entry this year! much better than the whacky suntribe last year... silvia night is of course a big favourite but we will see how it goes thursday...
heading to copenhagen on friday after my last written exam and going to the Dodo and the Dodos concert in Tivoli on Friday! which didn't get me excited until i realised what they sing...
staying with marie which is good cuz my danish needs a bit of a touch up after a while away and an oral exam next week...
saturday is the eurovision party of course...

the joys of my days are consisting of running and practicing for my finnish oral... yippee... ugh.
the schalk was around this weekend receiving my usual critique... i am so mean to him, should probably do something about that... why does he take it?! hmmm. it was nice hanging out... i was hungover from going out with sofia, thøll and sofias work colleague smári... the new icelander in the london village... well to our knowledge at least... had a lot of fun out although i had been at work and that really tired me out...
anthony, my dear homofriend in london and i have our bdays 1 day apart so he's holding a big fest which will be smashing... and it's going to be lots of work people, all the gays from his crowd and my tiny entourage :) and maybe schalk if he's behaving that weekend...
anthony and i usually celebrate our bdays together but this year will be really cool... he's getting all these samples of alcohols cuz he's heading up a new gay bar as ass. manager.. hehe...
i'm apparenlty getting my own bottle of cristal... thank god i don't have to be anywhere the next day...

schalk just got a job near our new house and is trying to move closer to the area the last i heard of it...
we had a bbq with jamie's bar folk and sofia on sunday which was fantabulous, drank a bit of pimms... and had a laugh... although the schalk did mysteriously get himself out of the event claiming that in south africa people bbq all day long so he just thought he would come back a lot later... hmmm interesting... but that's alright, i was hungry so we there wasn't really much left for him after rachel and i got our hands on the skewers...

getting excited about moving! we booked aussie man with van today to move us... she actually asked 'how many aussie men would you like?' I was thinking... is it really that easy, this the right number?

lastly... this insane bhuddist hippie monk wannabe was talking in tongues outside our flat today and it really lifted my spirits... ok not really but i had a laugh...

so i got my traning date postponed so i have time to move and have a birth... day, go on holiday and hang... yah! i have an exam tomorrow so what better to do other than study but blog. exams are still killing me... but tomorrow is the last hard one.. then all i have to do is learn to speak two languages in a week. cake... i just love a piece of cake!
no thankfully my last exams are in Finnish and Danish... my specialties!
going to koben for eurovision next friday which i am super excited for! staying with marie, kiddi is homeless and very incommunicado, allegedly as i have heard from a his friend in iceland!
so after i move i have 10 days of bliss and then back to koben in june with auntie and friends for 2 days...
and then to barcelona,spain with a special someone and then back to estonia for 10 days for some good old fun with fam and friends for my annual visit during the most important day on the estonian calendar. jaanipäev! just the biggest party ever, not to mention longest day of the year with the sky bright all night long... did i mention that MARIE my favourite dane is coming to ESTONIA for a week! yeah!
so i will be gone from june 10 to 25th on my whirlwind trip around the continent and then return to start training with the airline on June 26th. Already doing a trip on the 27th! they really push it!
i´m going to get a consultation for laser eye surgery cuz i want it done and estonia is the place to do it. my contact days are coming to an end... i am having major issues...

been taking driving lessons and i am giving up due to time limitations on the whole manual biz. going to switch and get my license here in automatic so i can drive and get a car asap. me need for to get to the airport.

and I get to get a new camera because my insurance company can´t fix the other one! so i´m getting the updated sony version of the one i just had, it has this cool stable shot setting... can´t wait to get it on my way to koben next friday!
gotta get my new uniform hehe from the British airways uniform shop... hehe... i am going to giggle a lot... i never really thought of myself in a cabin crew uniform!
well back to studying, have to take another lesson today.. i really think this whole system here sucks... as if driving on the other side of the road is better... and why the hell is manual better! i am perfectly satisfied with 2 pedals! jesus lousie-us.

Well i have landed myself a job at 35,000 ft with GB Airways, franchise partner of British Airways meaning that we serve the British Airways Flights to all Mediterranean, North African and Turkish destinations... it's British Airways planes, my uniform is BA, service is BA etc....
www.gbairways.com is the address... So it's a nice small company with a big name which is nice for me because it means that I work with people more often than I would on mainline and that it's easier to move up. The other obvious bonus of being a division of BA is that I get all the benefits of working for British Airways and their benefits :) yippee! meaning unlimited travel on BA and all of the Oneworld alliance! so I am super pumped... they want me to start May 29th but as it may show from my lack of entries, I am in exams right now, with my last exam, Finnish Oral on May 26th, so May 29th is going to be pushing it if I want to move on June 1st to the cool place shown below!

so I am calling next week to see if they have set a training date for a start sometime in June and then it will all be confirmed.... I was invited to an assesssment day last week which lasted all day. Group exercises and assessments are horrible and really gruelling! so after those took place, they called 6 out of 15 to another room, then we had lunch and all got to chill out and then had a 2to1 interview which was fine except for, I was interviewed by two homos which I think liked me thankfully because I think that went really wrong at my virgin interview... they were sooo sweet to me and really made me feel comfortable... I got the call about an hour after I got home which was such a relief!

so that's the story. I am starting lessons tomorrow for driving to adapt to the whacky ways of the Uk as I have to probably start driving to the airport once i start...

So next week i will find out about my training and I am hoping to go to Spain with my friend erensah on the bank holiday at the end of the month for a few days as we would head off the day i finish... so that will be really nice as long as I don't start the 29th. although i think i will go anyways!

going to copenhagen the weekend before which will be good because it is right before my danish oral exam! it's also eurovision and i'm going to svenni's party which will be wikid!

so super excited! until then my life is boring and consists of revision completely! just so happy to have a job for when i finish though! we do night stops in spain and morocco! yah!

things are hectic. my degree is almost finished and with my bad time management it doesn't look like it's going to be easy. Finished the two papers I need to do but I still have a lot of revision to take care of... Went to venice with my uncle and spent a fortune but it was well worth it... so nice and pretty... the weather was wikid and i got to putt around in a gondola! ate 2.5 dogs, well the equivalent of and now on a bit of a workout regime because of it.. also cuz summer is coming... easter has been more or less a weekend of sitting at home with a computer, cleaning and a bit of flat hunting... we're going to see a flat tomorrow in a less nice area but it looks really cool.. it's a warehouse conversion in leyton, about 20 min on the tube to tottenham crt rd and bond street which is fine for me. the place looks super nice and i will post pics if we get it... sofia and i will see it tomorrow. our other third... thøll is off in the denmark and has extended her stay there... evil pole! especially cuz i have to take her work shedule. other than that, me thinks i´ll do another cabin crew interview with GB airways which is part of British airways... that's next sat. not super hopeful cuz a bit of freedom in the summer would be nice...

was out with the schalk and his cousin tonight... which was nice... never met her but she's cool...

Cardigans in KBH

so I have been lazy about wrting p.g.a. uni work but I'm all back in business... I went to copenhagen two weeks ago for the Cardigans concert which was wikid! I don't get how we can be so whacky and have so much fun in 12 hours... well it was all the fun despite it was so short. sara tried sushi for the first time and kiddi and i drove around on his new gay blingcycle singing a song over and over again... can't remember for the life of me... went home a bit hungover but that's life! and i love stix and sushi... i was all nostalgic at the concert as it was my third cardigans concert. the first being when i was 14 in canada... that was cute... second in sweden and now copenhagen! they were really good as well. so worth it. they are actually now coming to the UK but I have no one to go with April 21 anyone... it's still on sale but I am still so glad i went to the KBH for the concert 4 i will totally remember it!
going to manchester again next weekend to see hedinn and kiddi on a visit. staying from saturday till monday which will be nice... goooo team!
went to heaven last weekend with rasmus, jonas and thøll after going out with some other danes in soho... rasmus was on a visit so it was nice to see him although he left pretty early as usual! thøll and i carried on to steal drinks and try to pay with card everywhere which failed every time! i also beat thöll up while trying to get her to stop having the hiccups... this raised a great concern from the crowd as I apparently hit a LOT harder when drunk. mental note... dont cure hiccups when drunk... in the end of the night, thøll helped some guy up onto the platforms and i got angry cuz he was super cute... so one thing led to another and i pulled :) name is schalk and he's a south african and no, he's not black. i have been out with him a few times since then and he's cool... pretty cute, a chef, 25... well that's all i have to say :) or can say without offending...
am super busy with uni work and i am working more now at the bar because they are short staffed which sucks... just got it together to pay all our bills...
got my exam schedule as well and I am done on the 18th of MAY! yah! have my virgin atlantic cabin crew interview coming up which is going to be a hectic day. i have to get super pretty for then... and yes it does take a lot of work!
the schalk as I like to call him, has been telling me that it is super difficult just to get an interview with them so we'll see how it goes... it was the same with british airways... trying to put together my masters application for aarhus but everyone is getting annoying slow with completely references! eek! thöll is in denmark and I have had a loan on my mind for so long... I owe gugga, an icelandic friend, 200 DKK and she has a kid and all that and loaned me the money after pride on one of our swimming trips at the palace... i havent seen her since but really want to get it back to her... i need to cleanse my conscience! so i sent it back with thöll and hope that she completes my mission... time is flying by so fast... it freaks me out... this weekend was btw the coldest fucking weekend ever in london... i was happy to stay home thank you very much!!

well yesterday i was headhunted to train the British Library choir in jaanilaulud... oh joy... it was stress but it all went fairly well...
In other news I am applying for Aarhus and Copenhagen Business Schools for Masters programs. Intercultural Management in copenhagen and International Business Communication in Aarhus. so it's always good to have a back up...
I would ideally like to do a masters sooner than later despite my dad wanting me to work for a bit. but in Denmark, the degree being free makes a huge difference.
I got an A- on a International business study which i am super proud of... and i got another interview to pursue a career as a flight attendant for the summer... this time with GB Airways, a part of British Airways... I really want to work for Virgin Atlantic as they only fly overseas... so I'm waiting for a response from them currently...
and i got nice texts from the flippster in the kho-hay-ho last night which make me all nostalgic... summer memories... funny that he was looking at summer pics as I was the day before... we did the summer good... it was one of the best summers ever i think... vodka, palace swimming, vodka, cosy, vodka, sundays at masken, swimming at the palace, passing out on sunday afternoon in the park, 4 cheeseburgers at mcdonalds, bike theft, vodka, amsterdam, klampenborg at bellevue, park, vodka, tan, swimming drunk, icelandic mafia... ok i think i covered my summer...
so yeah i am so wanting to go back if i don't think of something good to do soon!
I have 4 and a half weeks left of my degree in class time. crazy! going to see the cardigans at vega in the KBH next wednesday which is going to be soooo fun! i am the worst procrastinator ever of work though. it's sick. i really need to get on the ball with my uni work!

edinburgh was the best ever... marie, thøll and sofia all ventured up north with me for some good old scottish times... we had the biggest laugh, it was great. i think i was exhausted from the weekend just from laughing... who would have thought so much humour could take place in danish! we did a lot of partying... i found a driverøs licence belonging to tracie hutchinson which i made thøll put teeth marks in and then sofia took it as her personal mission to set out on the search to find her in the club! the search for the missing tracie... sofia continued to ask everyone, including black men, middle eastern, bartenders, you name it... marie and i danced a bit before we sent her into the mens toilets to pee... that caused a riot to remember... marie also hooked up with the busker who was playing guitar outside the club when it closed... he took us to try and find a place to eat without success... too bad...
the highlight for me was climbing the big hill which was gorgeous and putting vodka in thølls water bottle on the way home... that was the best prank ever... she had no idea what to do and the toilet was occupied!
everyone on the train thought we were insane... i also did her hair so she looked like a little japanese go go raver... i will start putting up pics now cuz i am exhausted...

i definitely recommend edinburgh, especially with 2 icelandics and a dane!

well estonia has been all good times...
Head sõbrapäevad to all that get it... the motherland is super pretty this time of year and i have been gone for just enough months that everyone feels the need to drive me places... :) it is really cold though. heading back to my scandinavian refuge in fulham with a housefull of them... well more or less just one extra with marie coming from KBH. right now i am trying to comtemplate whether i can be fucked to go to selver food store for my supplies. esto bread and yoghurt, kohuke, pirukas, ok i'll go... we are thinking of all going back to GOSPA for easter which may be super nice. kristel and tiina and maybe toomas may come to london and try to all go away to rent a cottage but kristel's busy schedule of avoiding her work at the ministry of foreign affairs seems to have her travelling to bali and delhi etc. funny that there are no embassies in these places... hmmm... i am contemplating going to delhi with them as the tickets from tallinn with finnair are sooo cheap. i got an answer from BA and I can't have my application processed further because of my time restrictions with uni. bastards. so i am going to apply to virgin and a few more subsidaries and then see... and if nothing works out, i am definitely copenhagen bound or possibly tallinn. i kind of want to come here for a bit when i am done uni. but depends on jobs etc. i really wanted that summer contract with BA, i am super gutted about that because it would have been perfect. although all things happen for a reason... my flight is at 16.15 and i have to get to the lounge early to abuse the printer privileges and use all the paper they have for some stuff i have to print off from uni. Edinburgh is going to be such a blast this weekend! we are going to have the cutest little danish-icelandic tour group and party good! i am really excited to take the train. gonna be well pretty! my dad sent me a cute valentines day card... söde... well gotta go pack it in... have a lot of peenleib to stuff in my bag...

so i have been detoxed to the fullest extent. i can't really think, i am just so mellow... it's fantastic... the gospa trip was a success! i had such a lovely time... and while i was there kristina smigun won the gold for estonia! yah! that was wikid! not that often we hear the lovely song at the olympics! the weekend really tested my estonian skills as doing yoga in estonian would do! not to mention the words they use in the spa, on top of the fact that the saaremaa accent is a bit off... back in tallinn now. the food was amazing and the whole thing was so cheap really... i definitely want to go back. it was so relaxing to have my own room... i arrived and had flowers and pirukas waiting for me from ahti which was really sweet although i thought they were from the hotel until toomas came to my room and called me naive for thinking that they were from the hotel.... afterall how would the hotel know i like pirukas... and they are definitely not they typical spa food :) i am so happy to be back in the motherland... with kristel now and went for indian with tiina this evening but going to the fam tomorrow in nõmme... still no word from british airways and i just want to find out whether i get it more so because i want to have something lined up for when i am done uni. even if it's some crap job as a flight attendant. i just need something to occupy my time till i can properly apply for positions next winter... i'll know by thursday... i flew to estonia beside erki nool actually, estonian triathalon gold medalist and i didn't realise it until we were getting off and i saw the olympic gear... i was quite chuffed about that... there was also a radio presenter on the flight... i think it's cool... i never see anyone famous in london... thank god i have estoville!

well through a strange process of events I have an interview with British airways tomorrow for to be a flight attendant for the summer... oh bliss... it's freaking early though and then i have to leg it and be back to go to gatwick to catch my flight to estonia...
it's reading week so what better things to do than not read and go to the spa in estonia. i mean i'm sure everyone agrees i need it i hope!

well the maersk interview was alright although i was really nervous! I have to wait up to one more week to find out if i get a second interview....
Went with Kiddi and Bjöggi to a new gay bar in KBH called 'boiz' although I think it should be called 'old men on pension'. The floor was so crooked and it looked like a kõrts or maybe an old tavern from the hobbit...
anyway, continued on to the motherland on saturday for party party with my favoritest estos...
we had a lovely gathering where I lectured toomas to the point that he passed out from vodka.. not my fault although i was pouring his drinks all night...
We went to angel and took tonnes of illegal pictures with my disposable cameras!
It was so nice being back cuz i haven´t been now for a number of months... was very hungover sunday although we didn´t drink ANY booze while we were out... i think the fisherman´s i bought at the KBH airport may have been a contributing factor... it was just such a good old dance party... the music was great and we stayed the perfect amount of time. We returned later to gay camp which is also called Kristel´s loft... Tarmo the bf was away for the weekend so of course the gays and friends flock from all over to occupy the space in his absence... and it is quite a big space to occupy as well... no worries, we took care of it well!
Tiina and I hit silk baar my fav sushi place in town before flying home. love estonian air despite taking away food service... they always give me Emergency exit! will be back next week to go to Georg Ots Spa on saaremaa! yipee!

well christmas was a glutonous event only 2 weeks after the first one on colehill gardens, where after a very hungover period of party, guests and estonian bread, we finally cooked everything under the sun and ate a feast! thøll sofia and i had a wikid dinner with tonnes of leftovers, thankfully. viktor was still here, but was passed out on the floor after boozing earlier in the evening with a friend. but only in estonian tradition. he took one for the team. the meal was accompanied by big brother which has become the ruler of the household. sofia has been self-nominated herself to play the role of big brother as she seems to control and comment from her post no matter where we seem to be located in the house. she hears everything and definitely does comment on everything and anything threw multiple walls, a talent thöll and I have yet to master... probably never will. she´s just big brother at heart. well i have reclaimed my room after viktor´s visit, which is nice... although it was nice seeing him. i didn´t realise till he left that I am going to estonia in 10 days and that means that I have less than that till my first interview! fuck me! this is going to kill me, and I still have fuckloads of reasearch to do... oh merh... terry your husband?!
I went for a sparatic walk yesterday in our local park because I have decided that the centre stresses me out a lot during the day, so I need to appreciate other parts, more peaceful parts during the daytime hours! It was a really nice stroll although i kind of felt like it should have been accompanied by some self-evaluating theme from a music soundtrack. but i really love the thames river and the path by it... I was so inspired to explore further... there is sooo much of london I haven't seem. probably cuz I pretend I don't live here. I live in some weird icelandic, danish existence with an english address...

and I am still laughing about lucy from work telling me that I make funny noises when speaking... I hope this doesn't scar my presence in formal settings. I really hope that I don't exert random 'shut up! you don't know nuffin' 'bout nuffin'"s in my interview.
I am also having really strange dreams about sofia, but I can't remember them exactly so I am going to make an effort to write them down!

well this has been a bit of a hectic week back at uni. viki is here from estonia and bjöggi is here as well visiting form KBH so we have a full house... I am also hectically applying for jobs... there are soooo many deadlines for internships that i have no down time really... it is on my mind constantly... I am really focusing on applying for jobs in scandinavia. i really don´t want to stay in the UK if i don´t have to... I am so over it... I saw my friend lisi in the gym and we had a big heart to heart about it...
i am worried about Maersk, because I really want it and they are telling me that based on statistics it is easier to get into the company in the uk but that involves moving around within the uk as well and I don´t think i can deal with it. but i have decided to just go to KBH for the interview and take it from there...
i´ve checked out a lot of internships with procter and gamble as well as singapore airlines and accenture, a management consultancy firm.
ANYWAY, so last night thøll and i had training with our bar and then we were all going out for drinks for a girls birthday in covent garden at the warehouse. it started off in holborn at a cheap bar where we got a lot of questions about iceland and drank very cheaply by pouring vodka into our drinks... and this colleague was a bit out of the blue when he asked goes... you're rich right, or is that a myth! I was a little taken back! thöll goes... NO! his dad´s rich! it was odd... I mean i can drink my own vodka if i want! anyways, i don´t drink beer so of course spirits are pricey!
the roadhouse is where we went off to after and it was a good laugh. dancing with colleagues is fun and sofia, bjøggi and viki joined us there before going to GAY... and after being a 'gaybashed' all evening... I then kissed the gay basher! i have to watch my terms, it's all in good fun, but yeah I kissed the assistant manager, rob! haha. who is allegedly straight but above all is the one that likes to pop the most gay jokes! so it was a great occurance for my case in my future counteraction against the gaybashing... i feel he'll cool it now just a bit... otherwise claim i raped him or something... although he was quite curious earlier on in my sexual preferences..! haha.
in other events, sofia was fantastically drunk and bjöggi couldnt have looked more unhappy about being there until he got drunk... I have some fantastic picutres which I will upload soon... but we were suppised to have christmas today and now we are all to dead to do it so it is taking place tomorrow... I must make an honourable mention about my gay side kick anthony who is in south africa right now and couldn´t make the party... it was a shame he couldn´t help me in fighting off all the straight boys that want to kiss me! it´s so not easy! i better get a raise now! not that i ever work...
I have done a full body detox today and feel very rejuvenated which is nice for me, isn´t it...
viki is the worst person in the world to share a bed with! on top of his snorring he tries to shove his fingers up my nose in his sleep...
and another thing! i got told that I make weird funny noises when i speak! for the record, it´s just to not sound boring! but i really do feel the impact of little britain on my every day life. i wonder if there is any therapy out there for that..?
back to uni work! :) hehe

well iceland had a big reputation to live up to... considering I don't really spend a day without hearing about iceland. I really just had to go. I came from canada in the morning of the 30th and then had 12 hours to come home, pack andunpack and then get back to the airport. but despite only sleeping (induced) an hour on the plane I forced myself to go to the gym :) anyway, made it to iceland and had a wikid time going out that night... for some reason, I always go out onthe night before new years. I just have to make things difficult for myself. I even saw my lovely flatmate thøll on the street randomly which was ever so surprising... I saw a lot of people I have met before to say the least. Hedinn made the nicest new years dinner on the eve of new year which was the most fantastic treat ever while other homos selfishly spent hours in the mirror, although i am sure he had his fair share of mirror attention... we went to the fireworks just before midnight and viewed them from the big church, a most stunning backdrop for such a wikid display! At the gay fest we went to there was some good fun which was expected :) I met a canadian dancer who wanted me to go home with him and this other american guy, although I decided to wake up beside thorir as usual... :( and the canadian got annoying as well. he was a dancer and I have some issues with the way dancers move. don't ask...
the trip was a bit of a test on my friendship with kiddi due to darkness, alcohol, length of stay and circumstances of sleeping! but i think we did pretty well... we had some good little spats of bitchness but it was only to be expected. he and hedinn were actually wikid hosts and good fun. Thorir was all over the map but what else to expect! but at least a good laugh under the influence which was most of the remainder of his trip since he was leaving before me... the gay cafe in RVK is quite funny. and tiny but was still fun to check out... My favoritest thing ever were the swimming pools which were outdoor and consisted of slides, hot tubs of variant temperatures and a large swimming pool. it was super duper! god there is so much to talk about! but the blue lagoon was something special. i really loved that as well... but it was really windy and a bit cool..
the darkness was really hard to deal with. I know what it's like from estonia but in estonia I never do much. it was really a mission to gather motivation and this was another big strain on hanging out with people... and getting out and being productive...
maria and her sister, maria being kiddi's friend that I went to amsterdam with this summer, is the sweetest ever... and it was super nice hanging out with her...
although the last friday, I was out with thöll and we were so ridiculously drunk that I was MR. PUKEY for a good 24 hours afterwards... that was sooo embarrassing especially because I threw up in any location with a drain... including the sink... that was horrible. why did i do that to myself, i still really don´t know. it involved a lot of attempts to keep it cheap by drinking before hand with thøll and her friends... wine, gt, vodka were a horrible combination. above all I also fell into love with the closet and floor by falling out of bed when kiddi tried to turn me away from infringing on his side of the bed.... and that has taken a few visits to the chiropractor to sort out! he seems to have a thing for my neck which started out with violent hair pulling at PAN...
friends are truly liabilities!
thøll and i flew home at the same time and had a good old pig out session in the lounge before... she's decided that she is always going to fly with me or more specifically my gold card... :)
I will put more pics up... I really really want to go back in the summer time when there is more light but I would say that this was the best new years ever for location for sure... and maybe for company as well! as much as we may bicker about shit, kiddi is great company...
despite the fact that he is a threat to my physical condition...

so I have reflected and gotten back into, well icelandic life in london... But it is so hard to go back after 3 weeks of holidays... first of all canada was really nice. I ate so much sushi it was great and they even make brown rice sushi now! that was cool! it was so nice hanging out with my sister a lot! we went to the gym at my dad's condo a lot and that was nice... we had our secret mission to keep off the january fat! and i think it worked... I fly with her to quebec to see her university which is at the end of butfuck-nowhere. Was also visiting in ottawa and montreal with friends. I love hanging out with my sister, she is the best regulator in my life. to be completely honest I would so love to live with her because we are the only people that are fully brutally honest with eachother. she can really put me into place and I love her and argue with her for that! med det samme... anyway, we know our situation and she is so wise beyond her years it's amazing. I can't believe how she has grown up in the past couple of years and how wise she is beyond her years. she handles everyone so well although she does take a lot of liberities ;)
my family is so whack these days... conflict of personality not to mention families and priorities... but it was still nice. My stepfam has really changed and things are all up in the air... our house was under renovation and my stepsister and her wikid boyfriend are living in the basement along with their pyschotic dog. so it was a big cabin fever kind of situation... that was bad... emotions ran high and people popped their clogs...
but that's what xmas is all about. to say the least, we have agreed that we are all going to mexico for christmas and newyears... xmas is just for meget. leaving was a bit of a relief but i am hoping it's not like that in future years... I had to get a suit for my interview in denmark which was a horrible experience and i was fighting with my dad and the salesman about how long it should be... i kept yelling, it's not supposed to look like this and they we're like... shut up and get used to it...

well i'm going to the gay iceland party in reykjavik now that it has been approved by my new year's board of friends... talked to adam today which was nice and i think he's going to be there too... there is no snow in iceland so don't think skiing will be on the agenda... kiddi and thorir seem to be stuffing their faces as the slikbutik when I called this evening which made me jealous as I am running 10 km on 300 cal. for jokes.
It was so nice seeing Gill yesterday, my homeland friend living in spain... she's all happy there and is going to come to visit me in london in february. I'm getting nervous about my Maersk interview, now that the time is approaching! it is a lot more exciting when the whole idea is more of a fantasy but when I read statistics about hiring and their selection process, I get so freaked out... and when freaked out, talk to toomas! he's the best! he and I are going to Georg ots spa on Saaremaa in february for reading week! so pumped for that. it is going to be so nice and relaxing! and i need to spend some proper time with him. he's been spending too much time with his stupid boyfriend all because of their benefits! blah! and have i had a visit yet! no! he has to go to vienna all the time to see the stupid boyfriend! what about illegitimate me!!!!!!!!!

well enough ranting... I'm waiting for my step brother and his anally retentive girlfriend to finish dinner so my sister and i can go to the condo and work out! his girlfriend is so bad that we're afraid to let her in the house because of a fear that she is going to suck up all the furniture. my sister took 12 hours to find a snowboard with my father and 7 people got shot in toronto on boxing day. what a nice city!

went to my vanaema's (grandmother's) grave today, visited my mom and my cat... i was so happy to see my cat that i cried. literally. sad, i know... he looks so good! when I figure out what i am going to do when I graduate I am going to look at moving him over to live with me because I am really miss him...

well the festive season has had a bit of a turn in mood as the annual hatrid runs through the airducts of my house. best thing is that this year, I havent done anything wrong! no drunk tank, no drink actually! my sister and I are working out as much as possible to combat the addition of extra poundage. saw my mom today which was nice but we are also arguing about her whackiness a bit so i was pretty silent. The highlight was that I got to see my dear cat bhuddi, see included picture! cuz he looks good!
my sister has also had her fill of xmastime anomosity and we retire to starbucks for air a couple of times a day. my dad and stepmom are a bit whacked out from so many people and christmas parties... god! could there be anymore! not unless we paid strangers to flock...

I am getting pumped for iceland! but there hasn't been enough time in canada. despite the fact i want to leave when everyone gets moody...
my baby niece-ling is the cutest ever. i've convinced her that we don't celebrate christmas anymore. it's all about hannukha... she lives in a very rich jewish area and goes to a school right in the middle of it so it is only necessary to convert her, in addition to the fact that her mother pretends she's jewish to fit in. well actually she is all about the kabballah but it is a really good cover! have some more shopping to do... but gotta run to the gym now! happy hannukkah!

so i made it to canada in one piece. well kind of. i was surrounded by 150 children so after drinking a few in the lounge and throwing a few sleeping pills into the my magical cocktail, I was properly sedated to deal with the challenge. it wasn't that bad except for the fact that an army of kids were piled into the two seats behind me and really got a 'kick' out of my chair. literally. so some groggy evils eyes and a few slurred words with the rental units who were happy to leave there little army to fend for themselves while sitting a few rows up, eventually solved my problem and i was pleasantly unconscious for the most of the flight.it wasn't easy for sure as the last time i flew to toronto on my way to brazil a month ago... i was upgraded and now going back to cattle is rough.
can't complain too much though well i will but i shouldn't... being back is nice. my sister and i are on a hectic regime to not get fat so we're pumping it up at my dad's condo gym... the house looks a pillock as everything is nuts for the renovation. my stepsister and her boyfriend live in the basement although he has been in china for 6 weeks.... he came back yesterday with a tonne of tattoos... and one with my stepsister's name on his wrist followed by '1 love'. hehe

the house it also full of 90 kgs of fake designer stuff from china which i have to say are really good replicas! leather bags, suits, sunglasses, you name it. best surprise that came out yesterday was that my stepsister and the dog are going to go back to china with him for 6 months in february! and karen my stepmom was the last to know! hehe
going to some concert tonight after the gym... gotta pump pump it up... counteraction for the boredom munchies my sister and i do...
flying to ottawa with my sister tomorrow and then going to montreal and her university for a bit before jetting back here. gonna freeze! no joke. we got about 20 cm of snow yesterday so we're not allowed to drive out of the city really... oh mmuurrr....

Det er kun den første i en serie af interviewer så jeg ikke kan være forhåbningsfuld med det. I det mindst er det en start og en god ting at de har lagt mærke til mig og min CV!

Got an interview at MAERSK, a danish shipping company today which i am super happy about. They have a wikid graduate training program that you can check out at www.maersk.com under the careers M.I.S.E. section...
They called me today because I speak the danish and we had a chat about whether i want to apply to do the training in the UK or in DK and I still have the option to do either but I will go ahead with the selection process in DK because my skills are in some ways more recognized there. still very confused about what i actually want to do but at the top of my list is MAERSK for now. They have a reputation of being a hard company to work for but then again what company isnt in one way or another!
Im flying to canada tonight so i have to go do a lot of crap before i leave!

so I have had a productive day of uni work... and on top of that I am contacting friends in canada to get together which has been so nice. I talked to my old teacher, tuulikki who is so sweet so I am going to her place for dinner next monday and I talked to my long lost friend kelly, who's engaged hehe! but in planning my visits the only people I can't get through to would be my own family... they all have mobiles and landlines but bar telegrammes, I've tried everything! i'm coming wednesday and i have a shitload to sort out including tickets and cars and stuff and no answer. Mind you, my sister has had a mobile since the cutting of the cord and I swear, not once has she answered it. I am starting to consider outcasting as a viable option yet up until the past few days, I got messages saying they were happy i was coming... hmmm. whacky! dad is doing pro-bono work for a charter of rights and freedoms case but still not on the weekend! i'm so frustrated but in family tradition, I shouldn't be surprised... well I think i need to go with the contingency and get some canadian dollars because they don't know what flight i am taking and at the rate we are going, they never will!

so andy has taken up a new liking to frisbee sports and gets it caught in some power lines and when lou is talking to a farmer and climbs up and electricutes himself and falls off the tower! when he's back in the wheel chair his head is totally black and hair is standing on end. And the best part is that his voice is about 5 pitches higher now!
i laughed for about 10 minutes and and half. all in all the third season isn't as good but vicky and andy still have a place in my heart. vicky has about 10 kids now and takes her kids to work at the sex lines. but her offspring give her baby evils and that is not cool!
worked with þöll last night and we were the coolest bartenders in the world. well we did a private party for dorothy perkins 3000 pounds and we made 12.5% tip of that... which was a whackload! let's just say that i am the shit and i also had the organiser tell me that she loved me repeatedly :)

well sofia and i have just seen a few full moons pass while sorting out a stupid banking problem. god i hate banks here. anyway, went to the poshest club ever on the weekend with my dearest erensah and friends plus a friend and colleague from her new york office. it was such a blast, really! we met some fun people at a pub in chelsea called the pheonix and then had to do a mission of a run to get ready at Karen's hotel... it was a crazy night but well worth the craziness!
at the pub, I met this girl who went travelling in india and fell in love with it (well and the prince of some province) and stayed, so we had good chats and I even expressed interest in the company and got a card! it was funny!
the best part of the night was when a girl went up to a guy we were out with and started hitting on him, RIGHT beside his GIRLFRIEND. WOW, i've never felt turkish tension like that before. I think I have had my share of jpmorgan talk for a while...
In good news... Erensah my turk has found a dress and set a date for the wedding in Bodrum, Turkey next year! I am way pumped. I am going to her bride party which is her henna party before hand which is going to be all the fun! karen from NYC is going to go so we spent some time bonding this weekend. super funny girl! she's bringing a friend to hang out in turkey as well...
my only concern is that I am applying for graduate training programs and could start around then but i will deal with that when it is really a problem. but Sept 9th is the day! i can't wait...
I'm really hoping to get in with Maersk, the largest shipping company in the world. They are so international and a danish company is totally what i need! i am so hopeful. I have applied here and i am going to apply to start in Denmark but i think the competition is much stronger in good old DK. going to Canada already next week! and then to the ICE on the 30th. woohoo. new years is going to be all the fun! and I'm going to get all lezzied up apparently.
Some how I have, allegedly, thrown out my gigantic danish dictionary and another book and i don't know HOW! it was on a shelf right above the bin and now i can't seem to find the two books. I get sooooo obsessive compulsive about these things. i have to find it and i can't! maybe it's somewhere on my blog!?! or denmark!? dammit janet, i just don't get it!

well i am trying to get a lot of stuff done and it's not happening... uni work is hectic but going well. and i've decided that everyone is gay! and on top of that, why does everyone homo seem to gloat about a boyfriend the minute they start talking to me. I have had people in my department bring up the topic of boyfriends in the most random context! like fx. so did you go aborad last year? answer: well my boyfriend, he was ill and so I moved in and took care of him and worked on his parents farm while he was getting better and then took a year off...
my preferred version: yes, I was in iceland. (is it really that hard!)
fx2: so you study at this department then? well i moved in with my boyfriend so I decided to change my schedule a bit so I would also be able to take more classes with him(!?!) and I dropped classes from my old department and now I've changed my degree. (for a boyfriend)
my preferred version: Yes, I study in this department. (but why the hell would you change your degree for a boyfriend!?!?!)

gay people at UCL are really scaring me.

and on top of it, i would like to say that I think it's strange that everyone on the icelandic program in my department wears only black. what the hell!?! it's dark enough in iceland... liven it up a bit, pleeeezzzeee....
lastly, I am sick of hearing about people bragging about their bloody brilliance in languages. yes we all learn fucking languages and just maybe someone has told you that you speak like a native but come on, does everyone have to know?! and by the way, you're british, not icelandic and i can't believe that one would actually go to say that they feel icelandic and hence changed their name to an icelandic one... no, i'm not bitching about someone specifically!!! ;)
and then to go on to pretend that you forgot a word in english so you ask someone for the translation from icelandic! not even my icelandic friends do that! well I am done, but not for ever...

ok besides that, ironically, I am going with the girls to a icelandic society pub night tomorrow which is going to be interesting....
my friend from manchester that i really didn't get around to see when i was visiting hedinn is coming this weekend!! yah! so we get to chill which is cool... and lastly, Aussie nick that i know from Brazil is coming to move to london shortly so I get to have a little reunion. trying to do a lot of work this weekend and be boring... need to work and go to gym.

good times in københavn as usual. today was highlighted by a camel in højbroplads! It was super cute! Shopped a lot and got some cool bjørn borg stuff. i was so hungover on sunday that we didnt get up until 22.00 at which point i couldnt even fathom leaving the apartment. saturday night, i stopped by my aussie friend´s goodbye party which was nice, shes moving to san francisco, yah! more hookups! kbh was uber cold but it was managable. i am happy to get back to my own shower as the lovely city still has third world showers... well thats a bad comparison but you get the point. Marie is injured as usual after falling off her cycle and is still rather marked up. on saturday night at PAN some how I won the numbers competition which has never happened before. þórir nancy and i continued onto cosy and nevermind after flippi landed a terrorist. nancy and i stuck it out with our boy for a while drinking julebryg and dancing to aqua. we couldnt go swimming and this was rather depressing as we couldnt stick to our usual routine. and havent come up with a wintertime replacement... saturday in any case was a preparty with icelandic lesbians which was a fun change... the weekend award goes to þórir for being a funny bunny on saturday and honourable mention goes to flippi for sticking with tradition and ensuring a pull during one of my visits... he´s slowly seeing the world with my company :)
heathrow is annoying to fly from full stop. get on the plane. 35 min delay to wait for a departure slot. 30 minutes of circling around the bloody airport. 10 minutes wait while the stupid plane in our gate got its act together and left. total plane time= 3.35 min. usual flight time= 1.55 min. bastards. at least i was in the lounge before hand. although it's funny that the brits get so flammed up about it while all the scans just accept it. and it's a bloody british airport, you think they would be used to it by now. I still just felt so... good it KBH. I do really miss it. It was nice speaking the dansk again and just seeing familiar faces, even my usual 7/11 girl not to mention friends... so i am more confused than ever about what to do when i graduate. shit. well it was nice to be able to say to my dudes that i'll see them in iceland in a few weeks. i never really do say goodbye! as for toronto, i'll be there already in 2.5 weeks! time flies.

well i made it here unharmed... i was just so happy to get here although it is damn cold! i had to start directing tourists in the terminal cuz everything had closed as our flight was late due to 'strong winds over scandinavia'. but i was so happy just to see pretty things and pretty people! not much has changed since i was here about six weeks ago. Kiddi still has food i bought in the fridge which I am going to have to deal with because i fear that a colony of mold might take over the flat. kiddi is still watching the catherine tate show, the same dvd over and over again so I really don't feel like i am out of the loop :) it's damn cold outside but i need to get out and go shopping, bank, etc. my breakfast has been an overload of icelandic candy and i feel rather ill. oh i stole an apple from the lounge. so i'm not doing that badly! i am going to go call þøll soon to see how her overnight in stansted went. I thought maybe i would get over wanting to move back here by now but i still want to. it is such a nice time of year and its just so damn pretty! danes do xmas well! well i have to go shower... im rather demotivated to do so because denmark for one reason or another has the worst showers on the planet... or maybe its just copenhagen... well if thats all there is to complain about things cant be that bad... i ned to go buy food! and im not allowed to talk about sofias knee or being the leader of the icelandic mafia. the commission has informed me that this statement is false due to the fact that i am not actually icelandic. so i think i have been demoted to the ringleader of the icelandic followers society of southwest london and northeastern rwanda. i miss my marie!

well sofia has had a rough time without our cable... homechoice.
thankfully an engineer came today... he came and the door wouldn't open so he had a nice intro to her ass when she came back up the stairs in her pyjamas.... thankfully we are all fixed and she even had a crash course so now when she talks, it's with homechoice lingo involving retorical statements about channels i've never heard of, terms like VOD and replay and stuff i'm never going to figure out.
we also have a crazy neighbour that stays up at all hours doing dishes and the window so happens to be directly across from sofia's closet or bedroom.... whatever word floats your boat...
so today to solve the privacy issue.... our dishcrazy friend got a little boob jiggle show which sofia will solve the issue for some time.
our last attempt to ward her off from window domination was putting þöll in the window to just stare. all that did was force her to shut the blinds for the first time... we think...
i'm currently trying to kill myself with calculations and coursework. all done for thursday, just when i though i was on the homestretch for CPH, no... london has been forcasted to receive 20cm of snow on thursday according to my finnish lecturer. yippee... oh fucking hell is more like it... so we'll see if i ever make it out...

my flatmate is going to start working at my bar... hehe. that will be funny! i've decided that britain is just an incompetent country. it takes forever to do anything here... just changing the direct debit for my rent took a total of 3 hours of my life to change because my lettings agent is incompentent. and I blame all of the UK!

i have been working both for uni and at the bar like never before. Project management is going to be the end of me! Spent all weekend at home lacking social life which is only fair because I need to compensate from being in Brazil... with uni work that is... just came back from my bling gym and it is official... I put on 2 kilos in brazil. go team! at least it was well worth it... the pizza and sushi was just sooo good.. i'm getting pictures downloaded now so i should have more up soon... going to KBH on thursday right from uni. Sofia has bought the BULKIEST gift for me to take to her nephew. I Tiger from Winnie the pooh that does tricks. it is in a box bigger than my bag. this is going to be fun! my partners in crime... well flatmates, were out last night as usual to get hit on my sleezy men which happens quite a lot. one has a stalker. no joke... but he can't spell in texts so she is a BEECH after ignoring him last night... well that's what he called her in the text. she left her mobile at home because one day no joke, he called 25 times... ITALIANS are WHACK! I'm gonna work more before xmas so I can have a bit more cash for island at new year. well I am going to go procrastinate more and clean my room...
time goes so fast... i'm going to canada for xmas in almost 3 weeks...

well i have come home to my little icelandic world in london... so i definitely feel at peace now. i can't get too far away from flurgens without twitching a bit... the closest thing i had on the trip was norwegians but that just provocked mockery. I am stupid tired. Have just flown for 22 hours. drugged myself to sleep from Sao Paulo to Toronto, swindled my way into the Executive lounge and had a shower and then fly home and did a massive amount of coursework. so far, a superstar.
it was weird being in toronto for only 2 hours. after this experience, i never want to eat so much plane food in such a short time. On my way to Toronto, on my way to Brazil, I was upgraded which was a wonderful mix of dvds and cosmos. Although they cut me off those when I drank all the cranberry juice. true story. 'allegedly'.
i've come back to harsh reality with a big meeting tomorrow for a project and they are making me work tomorrow night and friday! what a world..
I bought a gay magazine in Brazil just to check it out. well, jesus murphy! never open one of those in public transport!
i mean it seems all innocent and then suddenly you can't get enough cock. it's as if they spring off the page. boy that was enbarrassing!
i am happy to say that i am back in london for a whole 8 days before venturing off to my beloved KBH.
sofia and þöll have been missed, i must say... i laughed so hard when i got home to hear about the stories of þöll being brainwashed in to door to door sales... then she comes in and does the pitch on us. she knows in a way that the scheme is a pyramid scheme but she is so into it! its great. stories of bell ringing and circle chanting to inspirational visits to head office. shes going far apparently... i need to hear more but for now I am a dead beaver and off to bed it is... tomorrow is another day of london crap to deal with. not to mention my student transport card has been declined because the expird date is wrong... i hate LONDON TRANSPORT. godnat!

well drank beer all day at the beach today with brazillians trying to talk to us which becomes really boring after days of experience!
The fag days are over and i am going to get a new tattoo to cover up the existing one... but it is a really cool design incorporating a triangle. i was going to go for something tribal but that is sooo overdone. only in brazil do they have pizza and sushi joints in one! and i love both! met a really cool fashion designer from london that has come here and loved it so much that she just wants to stay. she speaks portuguese like a local. amazing. she helped me design my tattoo and is going to be my tag along for the experience... she does all the translation. it is so much cheaper here to get it done as opposed to EU.
the straight boys are becoming excessively entertaining with their attempts to pull brazillians... it actually works so well. gringos aka foreigners are an infatuation here... they love us... more them... although i have a gay fan club that have already invited me to stay at their places over and over again... good times although i took a rain check. im trying to hold off on the hungerpains... ouch. last night i was supposed to go with the boys to sirena, the bling club but i passed out and remained that way all night. but tonight is the night and tomorrow i am supposed to head back to são paulo for some bonding time..
the club is rated one of the best in the world and they know how to party here. i think i said that already... oops!
i think i am having anxiety about going back already... nooo. and it is going to take me a fortnight to get there... fuck!
i keep listening to my music and danish and estonian music is still making me homesick... a good night at a club here will clear me up i hope...

well today has been the best day in the world for weather on the beach. i sat very contently with my ipod listening to music and tanning. i drank beer all day and am bloated like fuck. sat with the aussie/brazillian possé which was fun but tiring because it is a bitch to understand both sides of the team. ended the day playing volleyball and surprisingly... we won and i was a damn star as well! i miss my danes a lot and i do miss being home a bit. i have such wikid memories of beaching it in denmark and being drunk on the beach with my milkshake among other people. but the aussies are a good substitute. except they talk about girls a lot which gives me only so much opportunity to interject... ive been really quiet for reasons of understanding but the aussies do speak backcountry talk which has been a hassle. smoking a bit which is a bit. stoned myself into sleep last night with some homos we met. one is a complete clone of chiuaua aka viktor. it is really scary. walk talk and aura. got it all... got i have put on a lot of weight... but all in good fun. chow down sessions are truly the best thing about holiday. they have fruits here that have no translation and they are fucking awesome! there is one called açaí which is they best sorbet that has ever crossed my path. i think it was almost orgasmic!
well i am going to change my tattoo if i can. i met a coold brit named andrea and she is going to design me a cover up and i am going to do it up. will report as sometimes usual. well ten-four on the 3.20.

well its been crap weather but rio was wikid... i climbed jesus... saw the cristo retendor statue... which was quite amazing after so much hype from the pictures... met an austrian guy who i called the mountain goat. despite my attempts to live up to the name in gibraltar, he surpasses me by far. climbed 710m, 9 km in the same time it took us in a car with 2 stops....
anyways... love aussies... coolest people oive met here. ive become an honourary aussie! i think actually im a breederhag... in rio we boozed a lot and i had a room with 4 aussies and an irish surfer named kieran... it was all the fun.
some aussies just arrived and were well jetlagged and so the room essentially was a big hole for energy. we were in room g and for this reason called it the g-hole... :)
hungout at an irish bar a bit with norwegians and i couldnt help getting drunk and mocking them for various reasons although they took it well. my latest beef was the guy who pressed charges against a woman for raping him in his sleep.... what an afgoerelse...
rio was insane... did a tour of a favela, a ghetto and that was insane. it is runned by druglords and police just cant go there. we had to get special permission to go on the tour. they have watchdogs everywhere monitoring for police although we were totally welcomed with permission. bought some cool art from some streetkids. people were surprisingly smiley. it was well worth it...
the sushi here is alle tiders! it is amazing. met the funniest aussie hick who we called aussie wayne. he had the funniest laugh and the best racial slurs... it was so bad but i had some place in my heart for him after DK. well im just updating... going to one of the top 10 clubs in the world tomorrow... strangely enough ive been there before and didnt know it...
staying in a hostel that is so over booked because of b-zil holidays... they converted a back room of the kitchen so 5 aussies and i can crash there! will report!

well being the nice guy that i am, i have handed over the keys to my muchly cherished bicycle to my dearest of friends who now claims that it has disappeared!
what is a guy to do! no bicycle! well i have sent my agents into the field for further investigation and will hopefully have the full report back soon. then i can properly call þórir a fool... no offence!
I have rendered myself ridiculously busy with friends, uni and work... not sure why I have done it this way but anyways... i feel the pain!
Britain is such a fucking nightmare... for some reason people just need to waste my time and i am really not sure why! something so simple can just take forever because of stupid bureaucracy! why! I spent 45 minutes in my letting agency just to change my directdebit for our rent which i couldn´t actually do in the end because no one knew how!
work has screwed up my pay... on top of it. thank god my bar does well because otherwise I wouldn´t work there. i love the tips! man they are good for london.
to Brazil it will be on saturday and I am well excited although it is going to be a long trip.
Just booked my ticket back to copenhagen, yah! at this rate i am never going to settle into london. I have to jet around too much... i think it is going to be a negative thing in the end but i think it will tone down after xmas.
we have new furniture from ikea which is very fun and exciting and þöll is so amazing... she´s my new favouritest flatemate... somehow she enjoys building ikea furniture... and she´s a lot more cleanly than the unmentionable wife of mine... the two of them are still looking for proper jobs. þöll wants to work in a museum or something, sofia has an interview at my optical store tomorrow. I think they should work at starbucks but that´s for personal reasons!

the moral of the story is... business networks are more complicated than you think. don´t try one at home. this project management course is going to kill me. the end.

the beginning and manchester

so it's taken a really long time to get around to this but I've finally done it. The blog has begun even though I've had it forever and never done anything....
I went last minute to manchester this weekend to see Héðinn... for jokes! my friend from Ottawa lives there as well but was conveniently on her honeymoon when I planned my last minute britfest. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with Manchester. Didn´t understand anyone but that doesn´t really matter does it?
The city actually seemed a lot cleaner than I thought... and canal street was really cool. I was only there 24 hours which was crap but it was all the time that i could afford with my dissertation being due tomorrow. thankfully I finished it before :)
anyways, had a wikid time....
ate the dog and maybe a baby on the 'curry mile' the largest concentration of indian restaurants in ?? Europe?
well it looked like las vegas and that was whack!
met so flürgens of course which made me feel well at home... actually they even had sweets with them which really made my visit worth while. didn´t get to see my friend from canada which was a bit crappy but kind of expected. I heard from her on the way home at the airport of all times... so we´re gonna work something out before xmas... speaking of which, it´s coming up damn fast.
anyway, flew back this evening and thought... what better time to start my blog. so shut up!
gonna go to bed now and reflect. be zen and process my weekend... tonight i sleep alone, a phenomenon that doesn´t seem to happen very often... visitors are great for that!
